Does anyone know why I am not getting any Herbalism knowledge point items from Herb nodes anymore? I am still getting them from Mining nodes. Is it capped or something?
I do have about 30 more points collected for Herbing over what I have for Mining. But I haven’t gotten a Herb point in several days. I’ve heard that maybe you can only get so many a week but I’m pretty sure it’s been over a week since I last got any.

Yes, there is an ever increasing weekly cap to profession Knowledge points.
I believe the current gather profession cap is 277 Knowledge points. Gathering and crafting professions have different caps.

you also will not get any catchup knowledge if you haven’t turned in your weekly for the week.
