Hey, I was looking into the achievement and snagging the title but I have a couple of questions:
Yes.
I’m not sure on this one. I’ve done it twice, both times in separate guilds because other people voiced wanting it done and I had done it before. If you’re in a guild with people you’re friendly with, opening it up to them wouldn’t be a bad idea. You need 10 bodies at the minimum and provided you’re willing to put in the time (it doesn’t take much at all), you can get it done in a night.
I remember people would host a group every once in a while on Openraid way back in the day like WoD/early Legion. I have had a mage level locked to 80 (or whatever he got squished to now) specifically to get that achievement done for years now but havent found a group being hosted to set up gearing or anything for it yet haha
Boosting communities were the way to go for this before they had the door shut on them a year and a half ago. I think I paid 100k for mine and just had to show up with a naked level 30 toon while the absurdly twinked out boosters killed Algalon within a minute or two. That was shortly before the communities were shut down.
Now that we have both cross-realm trading and a Trade Services channel, it’d be nice to see them return so that services could be much more accessible.
I’m working through farming transmogs lately, I need stuff from pretty much every raid, I’d be happy to drag you along for gear if you’d like, I just end up vendoring all the cloth items.

I would be down, I don’t know where to find an updated guide for what is BIS on each class for this cheev though because of the squishes and chromie time gearing from expacs that came out after WOTLK though and honestly I need haven’t logged into my mage in years so I’ll have to check em out tonight and make sure it’s even still eligible or if something happened since to screw the level I had him locked at
