Helpful macros/ pvp help

So im a new frost mage just hit 70 yesterday and im gearing up as we speak but im wondering if there are some macros / advice i can clean up my action bars with.

Mage definitely has the most buttons and things to do to succeed in pvp from the other classes ive played since my return.
(Warrior, devoker, mm hunter)

Wondering if there is a macro i can use that will cast frozen orb and blizzard on the same button only using the one thats available or casting both at the same time when frozen orb gives instant cast blizzards. Would turn 2 keybinds to 1 for me

Or any mages have other good useful macros? Ive already got my focus sheep, counterspell and spell steal macros and my “burst” macro is on use trinket, icy viens, frozen orb idk what else i can do to simplify things.

Macros can’t be written to make those kinds of decisions for you. If the macro tries to cast a spell on cooldown it will return an error and stop.

The closest you could come is maybe a castsequence macro, or use one of the spells in conjunction with a modifier key (e.g. alt or shift) but it would still be on you to know when your spells are on cooldown.

If they both trigger the GCD they can’t be cast simultaneously even if one or both of them are instant cast.

I appreciate the reply brother, seems like mage forums are kinda slow huh? You have any useful macros you use to limit buttons of your bars?
