I’m getting into tanking on this druid and I’m loving it so far!
There’s one little problem though:
In bear form my character makes this annoying moaning sound whenever he gets hit I guess. I’ve been playing wow since 2004 and I’ve never had a sound bite be soooo annoying, it is actually detracting from my gameplay experience.
I’ve googled but I can’t find a WA or addon to take out this downy looping moaning sound.
Any suggestions?

this sound annoyed me SO much when I had to play as a zandalari druid in the Battle of Dazar’alor raid.
it’s beyond obnoxious.
there’s this addon: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/mute-wow-sounds
but I never was able to figure out which sound file to replace. maybe you’ll have better luck.

That’s what I call the “bellyache” sound. It’s pretty annoying.

it’s the sound file at the bottom of the list, the ID you’re looking for is “129543”
And I realized this sound file is every time I attack or shout O_O that’s why it was a never ending moaning loop!
Since all the attacks and shouts have their own sound file, it’s absolutely superfluous! It feels really natural in game without the moaning :)))

awesome! I suffered through it (and there was a LOT of complaining about it during those dark days in BoD), so I’m glad you were able to find it and hopefully wipe that sound out!
I’m honestly surprised that more people don’t complain about it.
yup, I’ve only been tanking from levels 50-55 and I couldn’t stand it, I couldn’t imagine grinding a whole raid tier xD Maybe this thread will help someone else too
