Help With Raszageth

Hello fellow Wowers,

My guild is currently progressing Raszageth on Heroic. We have a bit more of a laid back raid team, so not everyone can play their class to its fullest, which is obviously tough for prog.

We are struggling with the Volatile Spark spawns, that need to be interrupted/kicked/stunned/etc. twice.

I was wondering the best way to determine who is, and isn’t doing their part. Details does not display all abilities that are useable to remove these mobs, and it’s tricky to determine, from what I am finding.

Is there a details plug-in, or addon that can help us track if players are using their abilities to kill the sparks? Possibly a way to narrow it down in the logs without having to go through each individual players spell casts.

Any help would be great, thanks!

STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO TO KILL THE SPARKS, THAT IS NOT THE QUESTION BEING ASKED

I already said it does not have a comprehensive list of what can kill the adds. Looking for advise, not smug comments from Jackazzes

Anything that dispels, interrupts, or cc’s works. One exception I can think of is binding shot, because it requires them to move before it activates.

If you’re Horde, belf racial is op for killing sparks. I think panda incap works too.

A class in reading comprehension is your friend…

I’m not aware of a way to track literally everything. We’re also progging heroic razza at the moment (we only raid 4hrs a week). The sparks generally aren’t a problem - make sure everyone is using aoe abilities (monk thing, shadowfury, arcane torrent etc) to try and hit multiple ones.

The times they’ve been missed it’s almost always been one of the healers ones. Maybe assign someone to help them out?

Not what im asking

If you’re logging to warcraft logs, you can see who interrupted burst, or dispelled volatile sparks

for example:
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/6nyj9r73FAtNTZw4#fight=11&type=interrupts&ability=388635

this is interrupts on sparks burst cast

https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/6nyj9r73FAtNTZw4#fight=11&type=dispels

and this is dispels on sparks

If you aren’t logging to warcraft logs, I suggest you start! It’s a great way to break down fights further than details can, and it can be a super valuable tool in your progression.

good luck on raz!

:dracthyr_hehe:  :joy: Bro just kill the sparks, yo. :dizzy: :dizzy:

Why are you posting from a toon in wow classic anyway? If you sincerely need help then you should post on the toon needing help with the parses so that people can go through the stuff and tell you what’s up. There’s literally several guides up on every fight, I refuse to believe that the Wow forum posters would have anything more constructive to teach you than these people without your parses or anything at all to look into. :disappointed:  :face_exhaling:

I’ll give this “advise” for free: you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

speaking of kicking sparks, does Spell Reflect work on kicking it, tryna figure out how to kick the 2nd spark in Heroic

stun it

Stun, fear, incapacitate, knock back, ring of peace, mass dispel works on them.

Warcraftlogs has a position playback that can show both monsters and player positions. You can use that to see the spawns of sparks and their deaths and extrapolate who is doing what they should be
