Help with Races

I plan to main a mage. I also plan to level a rogue (in case I prefer it to mage) and a hunter (mostly for a gathering toon because I may select dual crafting on my main).

My big question is Horde or Alliance. If I go Horde, I’ll choose Undead (maybe Troll) mage, Troll hunter, and Orc rogue. If Alliance, Gnome mage, NE hunter, and human rogue.

I’m planning on doing a little bit of everything in game (pve and pvp), but all of it rather casually. It will take me a long time to make it to a raid or competitive pvp of any kind.

I know this kind of decision is very personal but I’m struggling to make it. Any input?

If you want to main a mage, gnome is probably the overall best. +5% intellect as well as Escape Artist to help you out with melee in PvP.

If you go Horde, troll is probably better if you focus PvE for the berserking, undead for PvP for WotF.

IMO, none make or break the game–choose based on aesthetics.
