Help with quest "Mission statement"

Hi there, I just recently came back to the game after not playing since burning crusade. I made a new character and started the tutorial and afterwards I started the quest “Mission statement” thinking it was part of the tutorial. But once the cutscene started playing I realized it wasn’t part of the tutorial and I was doing something else…it put me in a zone I never saw and I wanted to get back to origgmar to do some other things so I just hearthed without talking to some guy named Nathanos Blightcalled in that zone.

Now that I took care of everything that I needed to I wanted to go back and start it again but the windrider that took me there is now gone…I tried going to the portal room near the entrance of durotar and the trolls won’t talk to me and I can’t interact with the portal leading to zuldazar.

I have no clue how to continue this quest or even how to get to this area named zuldazar now that the wind rider that took me there is MIA. Can anyone help me or tell me what to do? I’m really lost and would appreciate any advice.

It sounds like you got past “Mission Statement” and moved on to the next quest “The Stormwind Extraction”. If that’s the case, abandon that quest and go back to The Broken Tusk just inside the Orgrimmar entrance (where you picked up the “Easy Death” potion). You can talk to Nathanos there to restart the scenario.

This didn’t work for me probably because I went further by traveling to Zulduzar by boat and then completing a ton of quests there.

Now when I go back to the inn I can’t seem to find Nathanos there either so this option doesn’t work for me.

Anything else I can try to restart the instance? Thanks!
