Help with Macro... single spell that transforms

Hi all.

I posted this in the Macro section of the forums but i don’t believe many visit that area often like the general chat.

Below i have the following Macro when Smite on my disc priest turns into Void Blast. However I like this single macro to either cast Smite when it’s not transformed then void blast when it does. Anyone help me with this? I’m terrible with macros.

Below, I have the following macro so I can cast a spell while targetting my tank. I have it setup to cast Void Blast however, I like for that same macro to cast Smite when Void Blast is not triggered but not sure how to do that with the below macro to cast either 1 spell or the other? Anyone able to help?

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead] [harm] [@mouseovertarget,harm,nodead] [@targettarget,harm,nodead] SPELL

Modify your macro with this: [known: Void Blast] Void Blast; Smite

Thank you Allendor. Where would I add this? I added to the end syntex before the Spell name. but it didn’t work. would it be?

/cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead] [harm] [@mouseovertarget,harm,nodead] [@targettarget,harm,nodead] [known: Void Blast] Void Blast; Smite

It would effectively double the text of your macro. Does the macro not work with just Smite? Spells that transform typically are accessible by their original name.

Oh My it worked! I did not know that about original name spells that transform. Thank you Theodus. Greatly Appreciated.
