Help with low FPS

Here are my specs
Intel(R) Core™ i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
16.0 GB
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080
Fibre internet @ 900Mbps

My issue my fps are all over the place some time in the open world ill be at 150 then all of sudden be at 20. Raiding i was at 20-30 for the whole 3 hours. I have tried changing graphic settings. reinstalling the game and turning off all addons. Nothing seems to help. I do have a SSD Card on order but not sure if that will help fps or just load times. Probably going to upgrade the GTX 1080 in a few months but would like to be able to still play in the mean time. Any suggestions would be great thanks

need a 2070 RTX card, 1080s is outdated, i would also upgrade the ram to mininmum of 32GB as well, now is a good time to buy 2070s on the cheap, don’t go MSI cards, go EVGA, best card you can buy

thanks I did order more ram when i ordered the ssd card. ill take a look 2070’s

Quazii shared some tips on improving graphic settings, including maximizing FPS. Perhaps it will help you.

Thanks i did see this video. Tried them all still had the same issue.

are you on a high pop server? that can also affect framerates
