Help with Lightforge Heritage quest

I just hit 110 on this character, Glorianne, and have barely started the second zone in Legion. How do I get to the Vindicaar? Is there a portal somewhere, or do I need to do the whole Argus line, or what? Who do I go see?

You’re a dwarf, getting 110 on that character will not get you lightforged heritage armor.

Speak with Khadgar, in the Violet Citadel, Dalaran.

You will need to open the Broken Shore, after which the quest “The Hand of Fate” will pop.

Isn’t there a teleport device in front of the embassy on SW?

In order to open Argus and start questing, you have to go to the Exodar/Vindicaar through the quest “The Hand of Fate”. It’s the only way to trigger Argus questing.

There is a portal or character, can’t remember which, just outside the Stormwind Embassy building that will teleport you to the instanced version of the Vindicaar. You can talk to Captain Fareeya there and turn in the quest.

(I had the same problem and actually thought I’d have to do the whole Legion questline to unlock Argus, before I found the answer in an old forum post.)

I just got to 50 with my LF pally and I got the quest “Heritage of the Lightforged” Captain Fareeya said to meet her at the Vindicaar. I haven’t done any of legion yet so I do the quest to get to Argus and access the Vindicaar from Dalaran but Captain Fareeya isn’t on the Vindicaar??? Anybody know what’s up?

There should be a portal near the embassy that’ll take you to a phased version.
