I have been trying for a long time to do the achievement for It’s really getting out of hand. It’s a rare world quest and I seem to always miss it when it’s up. Today it finally appeared and I did a test run on my alliance warrior and failed. Now the world quest doesn’t appear for any of my characters which are all on the horde side and are progressed through BFA content? Is this world quest only available once per account or does it appear for horde and alliance on different days? I would think I should have more than one attempt after waiting so long…
I think this might be intended…? I can see the quest on my alliance toon but not on any of my horde toons. Strange.
@Alfalfa None of my horde guild see the quest up. I guess alliance and horde get it on different days. That means i still have a chance this month. Thank you for checking.
This quest is available for one faction at a time, so yesterday it showed up for Alliance but not Horde, and two weeks ago it showed for Horde but not Alliance.
Fastest way to do it is to bring a monk friend, make them drop an ox statue and gather as many skeletons as you can. Once you get a neat pile of skeletons around the statue, use the scroll and spam the #2 ability. The skeletons insta-respawn, so if you didn’t get the achievement, keep spamming #2. If you don’t see any skeletons nearby, move to the next small pile of mobs and keep spamming #2.
This is important, do not hit the skeletons in any way before using your scroll, just walk through them to get aggro, and walk to the ox statue so it gets aggro from you.
Take off all your aoe procs, and anything that could proc when taking damage, so you don’t accidentally kill them.
Also important, don’t be in a group. The achievement requires it to not be in a group.
Since the meta achievement was announced, I’ve seen people on both factions just taking turns and helping each other. I’ve helped two friends get it, and I got help from kind strangers when I went for my achievement.
