So I recently rewrote all my macros and uncluttered my bars/macro list and I've never really had a problem with my macros not working before as I've been able to fix them myself. However my Intimidating Shout focus macro isn't working correctly.
#showtooltip Intimidating Shout
/cancelaura Bladestorm
/cast [modifier:shift, target=focus] Intimidating Shout; Intimidating Shout
I've been using macros like this for years. The way it's supposed to work is if I don't have the modifier pushed (shift in this case) it should use the ability on my target. When I push the modifier and use the ability, it should use the ability on my focus target.
My problem is no matter what I do (whether I have the modifier pushed or not) it only tries to fear my focus target. It will not work on my actual target.
I'm wondering if anyone else can help me fix it. It's the only macro I have that isn't working properly, and I'm at a loss because it's literally copy/pasted from my other macros, I just changed the name of the ability.
If it helps the keybind for it is T, and no, nothing is bound to Shift T that I am aware of.

Are you sure?
It sounds like there's something bound to Shift T, even if it's an empty slot.
I'd suggest binding Shift T somewhere, immediately un-binding it then trying the macro again.

Yea, nothing is bound there.
I just don't know why it would only fear my focus target and not work on my target.
One of my old macros werent working the other day.. might be a keybinding issue like that guy said.

Yeah, neither.
Your macro is working just fine for me.
Intimidating shout is only usable in melee range now, are you sure your close enough to the focus target your trying to use it on?
Is there a way to make intimidating shout target the closest enemy in melee range?
