Help with Graphics settings?

Ok, assume I know zero about what each setting is for graphic’s in the game World of Warcraft… because that is accurate.

Is there an article or video that is RECENT that talks about each setting, how it impacts wow, how I decide which settign I need it at and also stuff like gsync and things like that. I have Gsync, do I use it? If so, how? So dang confused. Like I have a GeForce 3090 with an LG 34" UHD up to 200hz. but I still don’t know what settings (other than the sliders from 1-10) to use with it or not use with it. Like MSAA, Ambient Occlusion, Resample Quality etc etc etc… No f’n clue what those mean and what I set them at!

I want the best possible graphics. I just don’t know what to set each one to and what I should be looking for when I do!

EVEN IF you told me “max everything out” I don’t still don’t know what I need to set many of the settings in game to. and then, on my Nvidia control panel thingy, what do I need to make sure is enabled or managed by application to make sure it is actually working in game if I set it!

I just want to know lol… and it’s like way too complicated. Anyone?

It should be able to run max but it depends on your screen resolution is it 4K it may struggle a bit then. Regardless in wows graphic options set the bar to 10 it should make most things max. Make sure the max FPS foreground is set to 200 and verticals sync is disabled . Also assuming your screen CAN interact with gsync just right click the nvidua icon in your windows system tray (the little up arrow in the bottom Right of your screen) open the control panel and you should see the option to turn gsync on. Play the game for a bit see how it feels is there lots of FPS drop? Lower it maybe to 8 then. Also remember some situations like cities in wow will be more FPS intensive.

Also lots of screens don’t inherently function at the hertz they specify you usually ha e to activate it, would recommend YouTube “activate 200htz on monitor” and it will show you how to enable it OR how to check that it is actually turned on.

You should be able to set all of your sliders to 10 with this setup.

If you experience lag issues you believe are related to your computer rather than your connection to the game, slide it down until it doesn’t do that any more.

WoW is pretty good at detecting your computer specs.

What’s the CPU?

Using a 34" monitor will decrease frame rate vs a 22"-27".

i9-10900 KF 3.7 (i think 10 core or something)

The best tool for this is going to be GeForce Experience. The slider lets you decide between Quality or Performance, or a balance of the two.
