Hi,
My character has done all the initial quests for snail racing (unlocking the area) and I even participated in a snail race to get Bashful. I can not get Briggul to start the quest for me to start earning rep for Big Slick. I’ve tried 10 different snails and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong or is it bugged?
I did zone out and got my snail mail quest, not sure which one or if there are multiple?

yep. same here. all pre quests done and went through a few different snails at 25 and nothing.
I was able to do this quest on 2 characters earlier in the week. Now trying on another 2 alts cannot get the quest to show up. If it is linked to a world quest or something that is silly.
Found out it is connected to renown. You must have renown 7 to unlock snail racing to get the quest now apparently. I don’t think it was like this on release. Some people already have the mount??
confirmed, you need rank 7 to start the quest even after pre reqs are done. so case closed.
Same I did the quests and presented rare 25 level snails from outside the area to gain rep and get to next stage with him plus level 7 renowned for snail racing with the niffen guys. Went to talk to him as per mail and he said now you need to train your snail and that is where it fizzed. I canot talk to the race guy and no more questlines opened.
My crystal ball is just about out of juice after all these years of trying to guess WTF Blizzard is thinking as most of what they do is not written with guides as to the next stop of a questline. Anyone with a newer model of crystal ball know what I am supposed to do?
I have the same issue. No quest for me, also showing him the snail do nothing.
