So people go on and on about TOXIC PLAYERS in the forums…
But whenever I tank in pugs people are always really nice to me and compliment my tanking skills and tell me what a great job I did after the key. It is nice but its not really my thing.
I see people in the forums talk about “toxic players” in keys and such. I want to know how to find them because I need people to degrade me and tell me i’m worthless. (i may or may not be into that). But whenever I do keys people are only nice and friendly to me!
please help!!!

have you tried playing worse? maybe when you make a mistake you should blame somebody else instead of just saying “my bad”?
i’m not really sure because i also don’t see them, but those suggestions might help

A completely irrelevant virtue signal that didnt change anything. Now if you want to insult people you have to be more creative then you were in gradeschool.
More on topic, there are certainly toxic people, but not as many as people claim. A lot of the time they are nobodies in lowbie keys who want to crap on others for the lackluster carry.

You will find the people who find the “toxic” players are generally the ones playing poorly, causing wipes or playing random as talents and complaining they get kicked from groups.
Just before in Reddit someone complained they kept getting kicked from groups. They only had 1 legendary and no tier applying for 15+. While it’s not needed groups will take what’s best offer.
I rarely see toxicity myself but hey one day maybe we will see this world of everyone is toxic

Oh they are out there. I was in a couple of these this weekend. I got kicked out after the team failed . I was one of many in the group. All of the sudden they were calling me a bot. I didn’t realize i was getting PMed till after the fact. I admit i am new and i was probably not playing my role exactly like they expected. But like i said i am new and am trying to learn more about Raids and trying to upgrade my gear. Just goes with the territory with players like me that are trying to learn the game and get better. Everyone is super brave and will say anything to you as long as they can hide behind a computer screen.
I see more toxicity on these forums than I do in the game, honestly. 
But I do think it’s very situational. I haven’t had any Mythic+ or raid groups that were outrageously toxic.
You’ll see players get really upset if you do something that they’re not used to in m+.
I think you see it more in leveling dungeons. Like how in freehold everyone skips 2/5 bosses.
