There doesn’t appear to be a quest titled “Open The Box”. Can you give us the name of the quest from the Quest Log?
No quest with the word “box” in the title in Vashji’ir
I can’t put the URL of the image, but Loc is 57,35 behind the sunken ship.
It seems that I can’t proceed without opening this treasure chest.

Proceed with what, exactly? You’re still not giving enough information for anyone to help you.

Are you talking about the quest “The Horde’s Hoard?” In order to open the chest, you need to get the key by killing Akasha, a giant eel that is swimming around near the sunken ship.
Edit: If you don’t actually have the quest “The Horde’s Hoard” yet, you can get it by picking up a Tattered Treasure Map. It’s a drop from Clacksnap Pincers. It’s not a high drop rate, so you may have to kill quite a few before the map drops. The key won’t drop unless you already have the quest “The Horde’s Hoard.”

I gave up opening the treasure chest.
However, I cannot move on to the next area.
Actually, I’m going ahead and getting flight points, but I can’t find the quest that leads me first.
How do you go deeper?
Here are the quest lists (which show which ones require others) for Vashj’ir. Hopefully, it can help you find what quest you’ve missed. You’ll need to finish each sub-zone listed below before you’ll get the quest to move onto the next.
Vash is one of the most linear zones for questing. You can’t bounce around too much. You pretty much have to complete the quests at a given quest hub to open up the next quest hub.
