My account started July, 2005 and I got my beta invite on May 15, two days after I updated the beta access settings on my account. I am not a streamer, but I also had beta access to BfA. So, that, as well as my desktop being a fairly recent purchase, may have been why I got access.

Few people have been saying people from Cata, TBC, and even a new player have gotten Beta but none could provide proof.

what are we asking for, for proof? i dont think anyone’s been asked to prove it so far have they? at least not in here anyways

Asking to see if they actually have it, most people from 2004 or 2005 are getting it and most people are not sure if anyone from TBC+ has gotten anything yet.

Just click the opt-in button and update preference. Then click it again and update preference. Do this over and over.

account Created December 23 2004 ticked in for beta as soon as it became a option with active sub. oceanic region. Nothing as of Yet.

I got invited on March 15th. I opted into the classic beta very late…like a day or two before invites went out. So I’m pretty sure when you opted into the beta means nothing at all.

Thats amazing you went without no subs for 3 expacs and got in this beta. guess past unsubs don’t matter then.

I have done Betas since cata… but so far for this No Invite

Based on everything Blizzard has said so far about the Beta, we know it will be much smaller than normal WoW Betas, except for during stress tests where they may temporarily invite a much larger payer base just for the short period of time when the stress testing occurs.

Unfortunately, what this most likely means is that even some veteran launch day accounts will not be invited to the Beta outside of stress testing, even then there’s no guarantee.

Either way, in August we’ll all be able to play :grin:

Been here since start of Feb 05. Have bought every collectors edition still no invite :frowning:

Was in the closed alpha and beta back in the day.

My beta invite came sometime in the first 24 hours of the beta being live.

My account was created about 10am on launch day, with the same email as I had my original beta account on.

FWIW I have been subbed most of the time between launch and now, though I have taken long breaks. I’ve also beta tested LK, WoD, Legion, BfA, SC2 and I was an Alpha/Beta tester for HotS.

My husband and I both have been playing wow since 2004 beta with some breaks in between. My husband had an email invite Wednesday night and I never had an email but my launcher updated with WoW Classic Beta Thursday evening.

Our kid is still waiting for an invite and he was a wee one playing original launch that stopped playing around Wrath but plays Heroes of Storm quite a bit. I hope more invites go out soon. Good luck out there.
