Logged in after a couple year break to see how the game was. Stopped playing towards the end of Legion. Upon logging in I cannot seem to start he BFA Questline. I do have bfa on my account. There is no pop up quests in my log and I’m not getting any prompts to go anywhere. Read that you have to do the battle for lorderon scenario however I’m not given the option for that. Also Magni doesn’t have any quests. I’m not quite sure where I left off in legion. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks

What did you do ? I can’t start BFA on my mage as well. The NPC next to the Quest Board in SW is suppopsed to give me the quest to start the entire chain. But for some reason he doesn’t have the quest giver mark…And my character is lvl 45!

yeah could you please post how you did it? neither my demon hunter or my void elf are able to pick up BfA, there’s just no quest or anything

Bump because I can’t find out how to start BfA on an allied race (Alliance).

Same. After doing the starting BFA quest from the port and I got my heart necklace from Magni I didn’t get any more quest from him.

Oh good not just me. I was able to do bfa yesterday fine but characters I tried today can’t start it. I put in a ticket with a GM but got a generic no help response about trying to drop thr quest and pick it back up except on multiple characters the quest is not offered..

Yeah same here. I tried making an Allied Race to go play through BFA content but it looks like unless you do Exile’s Reach or level from one and get the quest that skips the pre-game scenarios you can’t access BfA content. Seems like a bit of an oversight.

My level 110 alt (Invalidate) stopped in Legion - tried to continue to BfA now it is 45 - but no quests. Even went to Boralis and no quests.
No quests in SW and none at Magni in Sithilus.
Got the standard no help reply from Blizzard.

If you take a new toon through Exiles Reach you get the quest for the War Council and then you get to go through BFA’s intro story-line. If you have a toon thats already over level 10 the King has been kidnapped.
An people wonder why I call Wow’s story some of the worst. How can you have 2 chars in the current time line yet events are completely different…
Hi all, I had the same issue and found the way: Go to the Trade District in Stormwind and speak to the quest giver “Hero’s Herald” to get the quest Tides of War. This will send you to Anduin to start BfA.
Not sure for Horde sorry but there’s probably a similar NPC in Orgrimmar.
Sorry all I just realized all the replies… I don’t come here much. On my horde toon I just talked to the guy in org standing by the war board.
