Hey I just got back today to WoW, got my honour gear and jumped into solo Shuffle, I’m doing fine most games but I’m struggling a lot with full melee lobbies even playing super safe and spamming cc, asking for pointers, thanks in advance

Always be in line of your port and ask your healer stay near your port. Don’t do a stupid port that kills you when your healer isn’t near. Port when your healer is in CC.
Don’t get kicked on shadowflame. You gotta bait out their kicks with fear/vilefiend so that you can cast your tyrant. Also tyrant can be casted without a target so you can always port and cast tyrant behind a pillar.
Cast improved curse of weakness on their offensive cooldowns so they can’t crit.
PvP talents help a lot. Rift can help create a couple of globals for you to get out your CC/damage. Fel lord lasts forever and chunks, and gives you stacks towards tyrant.
You have the best CC in the game. Use it to create space.
Get out a fat tyrant with 17-20 stacks causing them to run or die.

Axe toss and grimoire stun are ranged stuns; mortal coil to lock down a kill; shadowfury to peel; spammable fear.
What class has better than that?
Sure, demo has situationally some good (dr-ing) cc - but to call warlock as having the best CC in the game is a stretch.
