Anyone ever have an issue where your strafing stopped working? I have Q/E bound to action bars and have always strafed with Right-click(hold) and A/D… Now all the sudden my character just turns in circles. Can’t find any solutions on the forums to fix it. Any help is appreciated here. I feel like my movement is handicapped, I’ve always played with movement this way.

Not sure, I remapped strafing to the default “turn left/right” and then use mouse look to actually change my facing.

I always rebind A and D to strafe instead of turn. Have you tried that? Keyboard turning is too slow anyway!

Thanks both of you. I just remapped A/D to strafe and nope, no strafing. Is there a key combination to toggle strafing I wonder?!
It has happened to me a few times over the past few days. It seems to fix itself after awhile. I’ve tried restarting the game to fix it, but that doesn’t seem to help. It just kicks back into working correctly randomly.
No idea what triggers it to happen, feels seriously weird when it does happen.

??? Ive always strafed with the middle scroll button left and right… that way I can run a circle around the target … really you guys don’t do that?
I can’t strafe AT ALL… but once it gets working again I might give this a try…

Correct. I even bound/unbound multiple times as well as logging in/out and exiting/restarting… So far no luck on strafing.
by any chance did you disable all your addons just to make sure theres no conflict?
Do you have the new option to interact turned on in Options? This has bugged strafing and sigil placement for me on my DH. Turning off has my macros and strafing back working.
I had this same issue the other day. Relogging and rebinding didn’t fix it, but taking off on my dragon and then landing again did
Happened to me. I logged into an alt, saw it worked on the alt, then it just worked again when I switched back to my main. Try that.

This seems to have fixed it!
Thank you! I disabled the interact with left click and it seems to be… “working like it did before… whatever…”.
We shall see, how this plays out… 
It’s a bug caused by being on your dragonriding mount while entering an instance. Relogging will fix it 100% of the time.
