Despite multiple forum posts - some with detailed pictures and descriptions of the bug - blizzard does not have a record of the waking fists T-mog bug. The GM I spoke with recommended reporting the bug in-game.
If you have the tier sets at LFR, heroic, or mythic go ahead and transmog the full set and then submit an in-game bug report describing that the mog incorrectly displays the normal variant of the boots, gloves, and feet regardless of which version you attempted to transmog.
This isn’t gonna get fixed for years unless there’s more of a stink about it. It’s one of the best mog sets, so please consider helping out.
