Hello,
I am a former user of ElvUI, trying to reduce addons, but having a hard time finding something that will show players group number in raid frames for my healing alts.
I’ve tried stock, Vuhdo, and Grid2.
Grid2 - you used to be able to add a new status and custom code, but that seems to have been removed.
Vuhdo - Similarly - Had a bouquet for this, but unable to re-create it to do so now in WoW 10.
Finally - Stock Raid Frames used to show, and now all they show is name, class colors, and health/mana.
Any recommendations or guides on how I can see my group #s on a clique compatible raid frame?
Thanks in advance!
I don’t have an answer for you so hopefully someone comes by with one…
But I gotta ask, why do you need to know the group number? Groups are separated visually anyway, but I can’t figure out why you’d need to know if that group is considered group 2 or group 4 on the fly? Certain encounters have group splits but that only really matters pre-pull which can be checked in the raid tab.
i think bartender has that not sure
You could prob make a weak aura to do it
During fights like Raz/Dathea, its helpful to ensure players are moving with assigned groups during the encounter. When healing and RLing, would be great to just see the group number on my frames and be able to instantly call out who may be going to the wrong area/stack points/etc.
I COULD sort by group, but have had it sorted by role(Tanks>Heals>DPS) for ages in ElvUI for easy focus on heals/tanks. Being able to have group number by name would be a great QoL factor.
Looking like ElvUI may again be the best way.
Cheers
