MANY MANY PEOPLE Cusing and spending hrs trying to fix from our end. MANY MANY people in every BG saying this is UNPLAYABLE … and rage quitting. The exact problem is. “Enemy nameplates are not showing” Getn side swiped bye ranged and running into pack of 8 people on accident is UNPLAYABLE… u cant change 20 years of targeting guys. We gotta see whats around us to PLAy!! …“always show nameplates”… appears to be broken…UPDATE…I confirmed a fix for this … the add on called “PLATER” Works with no hunter bug. Back to gaming! Thanks to the dude in the comments.

I am also having the same problem. Very bad to play like this in bgs… 
EDIT: I have already deactivated all the addons, and even so, the problem continues… Only the life bar appears when I click on the target, the others do not.

I tried resetting the UI and it didn’t work. Tried completely uninstalling and re-installing and it didn’t work.
It has nothing to do with addons.
It remains after a full UI reset and no addons even in the folder.
The fix people are posting was suggested by elvui users and for most(including those not using elvui), it is resulting in a blank LUA error(again not related to an addon).
I just press the V button
If they say it didn’t work for them, it didn’t work for them.
Yea I just have the stock UI, and so does everyone in my discord. Worked for all of us =C
Some people had to hit cntrl+V because they inadvertently disabled them
Well there are also plenty of people in GD and bug report forum reporting the issue and the “fix” not working.

run the command line in chat window, or create a macro
I use the Plater addon, if that helps
I don’t have their pc’s so I can’t troubleshoot it

No one is asking you to troubleshoot their pc. When full resets with zero addons installed, plus the supposed fix doesn’t fix it, it’s not on their end. This is likely resulting from them trying to fix the hunter nameplate bug.
