Help please! Glowing yellow border when mousing over action bar spells

I would like to turn off the yellow glow that happens when I mouse over/click on a spell. I asked chat gpt how and it said:

In World of Warcraft, the glowing yellow border that appears around spells on your action bar when you mouse over them is called the “mouseover highlight.” To disable this feature, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the Game Menu by pressing the “Escape” key while in-game.
  2. Click on the “Interface” option.
  3. Select the “ActionBars” tab.
  4. Uncheck the box labeled “Highlight On Mouseover.”
  5. Close the Interface options window.

Once you’ve done this, the yellow glowing border should no longer appear when you mouse over spells on your action bar.

I could not find this option though… Is there any way to turn the yellow off when mousing over the action bar spells that anyone knows of or addons I can do it with?

I’m not seeing a CVar [setting] for it so you’ll likely need an addon.

PS you might want to remove your name from your post.

You could probably use Masque if you can find (or create) a masque skin with transparent glow texture:
