Did the usual after abandoning a quest to pick it up again and it didn’t work. Really need help on this one. It’s a Campaign quest. Did a couple hours of research and running around.
I accidentally posted it on the character that I’m maining and trying to catch-up. This was the post:
I had “Power of the Maw” abandonded because I couldn’t pick up Kliea in Bastion or Maw.
Thought by abandoning it would be offered again, supposedly by Chyrus. Unfortunately that is not happening.
Kinda been goin crazy now after two hours of trying to track this down.
I didn’t complete it. Something happened and had to get off computer before I could. Thought by abandoning I’d get to pick it up again - and it’s not showing anywhere. Even went to the correct npc to check.
soft reset is where you … log out and dont do anything for 15+ minutes so the game ‘forgets’ and instanced states - like a dungeon trash will respawn etc.
depending on what weird phasing, layering and other pseudo-craziness the quest is in, a soft reset might help.
hmmmm. you should try the Quests forums too, those guys might know more about similarly-behaving quests.
i’d personally check each of the NPCs relevant to previous quest in the chain.
also, quest might be in an advanced stage so check in the maw for whats-her-name? see if it’s not stuck in some stage of completion, and that’s why it doesnt show up? Oribos, Maw location etc.
Yeah, that’s what I did first, that’s why I abandoned it. It was the end of quest chain and beginning of another with cutscenes. The cutscenes were over, but now I have to start them again, I think that’s the issue. It’s weird. Never had an abandoned quest go so bad before.
Thank you for trying to help. Submitting a ticket…man, those people don’t like this kind of stuff, but I’ve done my due diligence, don’t know what else to do.
PS - they always say, ask the forum - sheesh, you guys are in the beginning of new patch, who cares about this crud. lol

I think perhaps Blizz had their hands full with the DDoS attack yesterday and fixing it all night.
I hadn’t played the toon for months so Kliea wasn’t showing up at Maw jump off in Oribos. After going back and forth to Bastion, Oribus, & Perdition Hold a few times I thought the most prudent thing to do was abandon it.
Logged out, exited, and waited - went back, rinse repeat only this time going back to where it was originally given. Nada.
However, just leaving it all night it was there this morning. So, yay. I think with new patch, new problems it took longer for that soft reset.
So, thank you kind friend. You know how it gets when you sink your teeth into an issue and refuse to let go until you figure it out?
