I read the Icey veins guide, the wowhead guide, but it goes over my head. I need a layman’s explanation of the bomb dps rotation for Survival hunters. Like the red bombs and Kill Command, etc… I just don’t get it.
If a red bomb is up, what do I need to do? Green bomb? Blue bomb?
Green Bomb-explodes for extra damage on targets with serpent sting. Have serpent sting up before using it, low priority.
Blue Bomb-applies a debuff that causes a bleed when the target it hit with carve or Raptor strike. Save some focus to use carve and Raptor strike to apply bleeds after using blue bomb.
Red Bomb-applies a debuff that causes kill command to reset its cd when used against that target. Spam kill command to fish for set bonus procs, use bomb procs.
Always keep 1 bomb charge for procs. It only grants a free use, it doesn’t grant a charge of bomb

Dummy guide.
Throw bombs when you have two bombs, otherwise kill command/raptor/carve until you have two bombs.
Throw free bombs when you have a proc
During red bomb spam kill command for free bombs.
This is by NO MEANS optimal. Spreading around SS for green bomb
Damage and proper usage of both raptor strike and carve will make the difference but with the dummy guide you will
Beat most people because it’s broken.
Side note I play MM and using this method break 20k DPS when I play surv in meme keys (20 range) so take that for what it’s worth.

Red bomb resets Kill Command? So when the target has the red bomb debuff, I just spam kill command?
You spam kill command during red bomb until a set bonus proc. You use the bomb proc then spam kill command more
rule: do not cap bombs, or let yourself get down to 0 charges in ST or 3tar, less important if you have 4+ targets (always keep a charge in the back to use your 2pc proc)
red bomb: spam for procs even if it caps focus
blue: no changes from normal
green: no changes from normal
