Help me understand the story of 10.0

What I know is:

  1. There’s a Primal Dragon named Razagath that looks like a blue Chicken that wants to kill the Titan Dragons.
  2. Dracythr woke up 10k years later and are trying to find out what happened to Nethrion.
  3. There’s suddenly a new Black Dragon that wants to challenge Wrathion.

feels like this cant be everything, what am I missing?

its a filler expansion before the void vs light war.

Tyr left behind a copy of his brain and instructions to make a new robot body for himself, so we may be getting him back.

And there’s some walrus people I guess.

There was a civil war between the dragons a long long time ago with the winners imprisoning the losers.

Fast forward to today and very large, very random group of NPCs found out about this, freed one of the dragons that was conveniently kept separate from the others.

Also Sabellion > Wrathion and has been around longer, don’t be a simp.

While I agree with you, I also completely understand the OP not remembering a minor character from Burning Crusade who hasn’t been heard from in 15+ years.

Tbh I never really paid much attention to anything so I just learned when DF came out that Sabellion existed. And I’ve been playing since 2009. lol

Great great grandma dragon had her lightning balls stolen and has been angry about it for 10 thousand million whatever years.

Oh and is probably butthurt over her T-Rex arms.

razageth was as far as i can tell from the cinematics before df launched, imprisoned by getting tentacled by neltharion which likely explains why she was kept separate, didn’t want to risk the other dragons finding out via her blabbing about how it happened, or sensing some tentacly energy nearby.

Some birds got angry and we got to kill emm

Not only filler expansion but bland evergreen base leveling zones to become the milquetoast default.

We don’t have all the answers with the Incarnates and Dracthyr.

Wrathion and Sabellion are competing for the returning Aspect power.

Fortunately, all three questions will be continued to explore in 10.1. :+1:

Sabellian isn’t new, he was part of the Blade’s Edge Mountains quests in the Burning Crusade. How he came to be purified of Old God corruption is poorly explained, however (probably by writer’s intent).

Before you edited your post I wondered why you mentioned Gorgtond, lol.

Gorgrond and Blade’s Edge Mountains are the same place, BEM is just the post-Draenor shattering version of the zone.
