Help me make a very tricky and specific weak aura

I’m trying to make a weak aura that drops me out of the solo shuffle queue if I’ve been there for more than 1 minute.

If possible, it queues as well.

ummm, just count to 60, then click cancel.

Weak auras can’t do actions. They can only provide information.

As above, Weakauras doesn’t do this. Additionally, this would be considered automation, ie: a Bot, and as such could likely result in a ban if detected.

Probably best to just do what Mondrigomer said.

You probably could make some sort of WeakAura that flashes a message on screen to warn you 60 seconds has passed. it would be up to you to remove yourself from the queue though

One minute seems like a very small amount of time to bother with trying to automate to me.

As an alternative, every smartphone that I’ve seen has a clock where you can set a timer pretty quickly, or you can count to 60 like mentioned above.

ʻHey, Siri! Set a timer for 60 seconds!"

"Iʻm sorry, i could not find ʻSeti tie her sick sex endsʻ "

“Rassa-frassinʻ idjit phone!!”

What happens if you stay in the solo shuffle queue for longer than a minute?

Wouldn’t you love to know

Oh, do tell.

Well since it shows Blizzard’s incompetence, I will tell you.

Recently we found out that the queue system in solo shuffle tries to match you in games where if you win you can make progress, this lasts about 1:30 - 2 minutes into a queue.

After that time Blizzard queues you into people where you basically gain 0 rating if you win and everything to lose rating wise if you lose. So if you make a timer (as I’ve been informed by this thread is the path to go down with a sound file that says to leave queue around a minute in) you can dodge all these games of babysitting DPS games that make you no rating.

So, the longer you sit in queue, the closer to the bottom of the barrel the matchmaking systems gets, or a bag of chips for the zoomers.

This is healer specific mate if you are DPS your queues will be long just to clarify abit.

Think ripples in a pond after dropping a rock in

The second the rock hits the water, the area in close proximity is effected. When you que up, the game tries to put you in games closer to your current MMR.

After a second, the ripples from the rock spread out and expand, displacing more of the pond. As time goes by the system expands it search for a game, increasing the rating difference (both up and down) from your current MMR to find you a game.

After a minute, the ripples from the rock drop reaches the edges of the pond, hitting the limits. After some time, constantly expanding the search for games will eventually put you in either super low lobbies where you should win (high risk, low reward) or the opposite, place you in much higher lobbies where you are expected to lose (low risk, high rewards).

Its the system trying to find everybody a lobby to play in.

DPS ques are long simply becuase of how many dps there are to healers.

At the 1800 range there are 3.05 dps per 1 healer.

Worse at higher ratings, in the 2400 range there are 4.53 dps per 1 healer.

Numbers pulled from “check-pvp”

For a game mode designed around 2 dps per 1 healer, the loop sided ratio means li ger ques for dps and shorter ques for healers.

I managed to get a weak aura that showed time in the queue. Is it possible to add a sound when it hits 55 seconds in the queue?
