Help me get my mounts

Travel form is a true blessing to have… but I’m a poor Manbearpig. I want my mounts both 60% and 100%.
Any Druids got some advice for how I’m supposed to afford these things without making a gold farming alt? Lol

The level 40 mount is easy to obtain. The 100% mount is another story. I’ve never been good at making gold or spending the time required. Tips and tricks would be appreciated for the 100% mount

I’m 2 bars from 46. No mount yet. Saved up about 80g, so almost…

If you figure this out, let me know. I’ve spent ~10g on the AH, buying gear to maintain 3 sets (tank/cat dps/heal), but that’s it. And haven’t bought tons of skills either. 0 balance since level 20 or so, no cower, etc…

You can passively get it around level 45. The 60 one, farm herbs or play the auction house.

Lol… well then seems like me and most others are in the same boat… poop lol

How are Druids at farming basilisks STV or cats in swamp of sorrows?

Ive been doing skinning/ LW and I’ve made quite a bit from farming devilsaur leather. Im right at 600g and ive been 60 for about a week now. Ive made the majority of my money from just doing dungeons and selling the random loot.

I was out finishing up the last Centaur quest in Desolace last night, and had to kill 100+ of those centaurs there before the mouthpiece dropped. At 45, they were green levels 38-39, and they died fast(low armor mobs) and dropped a lot of cloth (silk/mageweave). I’ll be back later there tonight to farm.

I made 900g before I finished my pre-BiS set. Zero epics. Just farm dungeons at 60 and don’t spend your gold on dumb stuff.

…and no gold made from professions or “gold farming.”

I have no 40s, but enough gold for 2 mounts, and I just bought a Gut Ripper for my Rogue Alt.

I have a Miner, skinner, Herbalist, Alchemist.

The majority of my money is from Alchemy. Period. Mining has supplied secondary income.

Swiftthistle sells well. It is used in Swiftness Potions, Thistle tea, etc.

Free Action Potions (PVP server), Fire Protection Potions for folks running Molten Core, and whatnot.

Flipping BoEs is also a good thing. Some people will put Bear/Monkey/Eagle up for cheap. Buy it, flip it.

Buy recipes, resell them on AH. Some people don’t want to find the NPC or travel to get it so the cost is worth the convenience.

Really good advice thanks

Smart. Just got my FAP last night. Gotta get restorative potion but I gotta got 40 on my alchemy alt first :(:disappointed_relieved:

I feel you there, my Alchemist is only level 34 so I’ve burned 20-50+ alchemy levels stuck at 225 crafting items I could have skilled up from!

Must be nice to be on a non-mafia (or part of the mafia) server.

after 52 stop doing quests and grind dungeons. Then do quests (1k exp = 1g, quests will give 3-7g each, free money)

Go bear. Swipe swipe swipe mobs in areas like Swamp of Sorrows that drop things and vendor everything. Bonus if you are a skinner or herbalist. Farm humans that drop silk and mageweave, sell all of that. If you like to tank start running live Strat as soon as you are able and collect Righteous Orbs. A lot of groups will let you have the first one with no roll just for being a tank.

There’s usually 3-5 ally & horde in ungoro on any given night. But since DM came out its just been me and 1 or 2 others.

Really think about getting the 60% mount as druid. I got it on my old one and quite frankly i regretted it. Because its never really worth during questing as hoping between travel and normal form is just so fluid.

I got so used to my travel form I often times forogt i even had the 60% mount. The upgrade really did not feel worth it to me. + you save 100g for the epic mount.

40 mount needs no explanation, 90g is a joke and you’ll get it passively as you play, even if not the very minute you ding 40.

For 60 mount, I got mine through passive play as well, but granted I probably play more than most. I just did dungeons, vendored any green drops that weren’t particularly well stated, auctioned what was, and had a guildie disenchant weapons for materials that sold for more.

If you hit 60 primarily through dungeons, you can also go back to lower level (50+) zones and start clearing quests for gold. Gold in 1.13 is dumb easy comparative to the majority of the vanilla experience because at this point in the game there was a patch that converted quest XP rewards at 60 into gold instead. You can easily clear over 100g just from doing all the quests in a zone at 60.

With DM now available, you also have the option of respecing Resto, and going with a Warrior and 2-manning Diremaul East. It takes roughly 18-20 minutes with Phase 1 pre-BiS, but is a consistent raw gold farm–vendoring all the BoP drops. If one of you is a miner or herbalist you can easily increase profitability from all the herbs you pick up in there and the guaranteed (2-4) Rich Thorium Vein spawns after the last boss, which give expensive gems like Blue Sapphires (20g on my server), and Arcane Crystals (45g on my server).

This is on top of a whole bunch of class books, Librams, Living Essence, Essence of Water (from the 1st boss), and Felcloth—all of which sell very well. Lastly, if one of the bosses happen to drop a Foror’s Compendium of Dragonslaying, congratulations, each of you just made 300-400g, unless the warrior chooses to buy it out from you.

Yeah here we have three guilds actively controlling it - with crossfaction help.
