I want to pvp, and I also want to raid. I will be taking the game as seriously as I can, but I will have no interest in being in an elitist guild that is min/maxing everything. To me it makes no sense since the same game will still be here, and the same raids 10 years from now, so what’s with the rush and the hurry??
I am stuck between priest, mage, paladin, and Hunter… any spec, such as spriest for pvp and holy for raids, Ret for pvp, holy for raids (I am flexible just looking for the right class).
Let me say what classes I don’t like and maybe that will explain which of the 3 classes I shouldn’t play…
Warlocks — I don’t like warlocks. The idea of casting dots and waiting for your enemy to die just seems boring. I played an affliction lock in legion. It was ok, but it seemed empty.
Warrior — I like warrior and the idea of a warrior, but hearing they are one of the worst pvp classes without a healer in bgs and open world pvp is a big no no for me
Rogue — I always liked the idea of a rogue. I have dabbled in them, but could never really enjoy them. I want more of a class that can sustain a fight toe to toe, rather than a wait and attack approach and then run away after murdering someone.
I enjoy hitting players from afar, doing good damage, but I also don’t want a boring type of class. Insane dps is great, but when it seems faceroll it can become pretty boring.
TLDR: looking for a good farming class and a good pvp class. Raids is a plus, planning to join a more casual raiding guild.
