Hello guys, I’ve been deciding if I want to either roll sham or warrior for mag’har (once I almost get it), anyways I want to try a melee class like warrior. Mag’har warriors remind me of Garrosh and other notable mag’har warriors and they are so cool af! (Also warrior mogs are amazing).
Mag’har shaman is also a option because I want to play as a dark shaman (elemental spec ofc) mag’har like Ner’zhul. Dark shams are also cool too me.
Can someone help me decide?

Idk, for me Orcs are more warriors than shamans
Yeah, because of physique. But i’m talking about a specific kind of shaman here…
I mean you could just go both, i have another Worgen has a Priest
So you can just have multiple races with different classes
Lorewise, I think Orc shamans are far more interesting. Orcs are often misunderstood as dumb muscle-heads, but they are capable of wielding very powerful magic and can acquire a connection with spirits and the elements. Orc shamanism was also a predecesor to their warlock magic, which would match well with that Orc warlock you have.
I feel like making a attempt for a DARK Sham though, forcing elementals to bend to your will and controlling it seems cool too me.
Well there are several options as to what clan you imagine your orc is a member of, kind of give yourself a theme. The only clans not available are the Dragonmaw and Shattered Hand. Why not pick one based on a lore character you like? You mentioned Ner’zhul and Garrosh so lets mention those.
Ner’zhul was from the Shadowmoon clan which was by far the most shaman heavy clan, so you could rock a gray skinned Shadowmoon shammy if you wanted.
Garrosh was Warsong clan, which mostly consisted of warriors with a minority of hunters and shammys, Warsong had brown skin and brown tattoos.
This is not my main, but posting on my Mag warrior so you can see my mog. Mag heritage armor and plate in general looks monstrous and heavy in the best ways imaginable.
It’s so hard for me though, Warsong is a ruthless clan that slays without hesitation. The part of the grommash cinematic with grommash and a stick with ogre heads just hanging out shows him just enjoying himself killing seems so badass.
Shadowmoon however reminds me of how most of the shamans fell into corruption and proving how they changed into killing machines by terrorizing foes from a line of dark shamans too warlocks.
Yea no problem, Just roll that male blood elf you always wanted and be done with it!

You could just pretend to be a dark Shaman with your Warlock
I mean there is a literal dark shaman set from siege of org only for shams, what i got the idea from and also Ner’zhul.
Do Enhancement shaman then you get a little bit of both
Ehh, enh sham im not into that much. If I was going to play melee fully I’d go warrior.
I’d go with a blackrock for a dark shaman. They love enslaving pretty much whatever they can.
