I’m somewhat new in all this competitive pvp.
With my dk is kind of easy to absorb The Hunt if I pop up my bubbles and 30% damage reduction. But as a warrior, that hunt went through all of my defenses. Any suggestions? What do you do when you see DHs start to cast that ability?
You can fear last second I think

Does stormbolt stop it?
Like if they cast it, and mid zoom you stun them?
Most of the damage seems to come from the dot now. While it would be good to immune the whole thing that’s prob not gonna be easy on War unless they just send it from across the map and you have time to press dbts, bolt, or spam fear and hope it hits them before the hit registers on you.
After it lands anything to mitigate the dot damage will be good and they are probably also using other cd’s into it so you can still get a lot of value by just pressing dbts after and minimizing the dot/leech/follow up damage from it. I think reflect just has baked in magic dam reduction as well so can prob just press that and further reduce the nature damage dot while it’s up.
Like they said any form of CC while they are flying at you. As a warrior you can either parry the initial hit that normal hits like 13k “unbuffed” or you can reflect the dot before he connects with you. The initial hit can crit 20k+ I’ve had it crit 26k. The dot does about 13-15k non Crits to a target without defensives and unbuffed.
How a DH can buff their hunt they have 2 pvp talents which can help. If they take isolated prey and they eye beam you alone no other target you take 10% increased damage from all sources for 6 seconds. Other talent is the glaive one where we get 10% increased damage of a random school spell (fire, nature, frost etc.) if they throw a glaive on ya and they have the nature proc and hunt ya that’s another 10%
You can absolutely do this. I don’t always have the reflexes for it, but getting off a stun, fear, etc. after they’ve cast and are flying towards you is always some high quality emoting material.
