Help finding a Staff

Hi Everyone,

I saw another Warlock a week ago that was using a staff I had never seen before in my 19+ years of this game. He must have logged out or taken a queue just as I just started to inspect, so I never had the chance to see it, but I SWEAR I saw the word “Sargeras” in there. It is entirely possible it is something that cannot be obtained anymore, but I was hoping maybe someone has an idea.

Description:

  • 2H Staff
  • Purple Aura / Colouring
  • Large chandelier top
  • Rotating “drum” below the head of the staff. It was not a solid drum, it had gaps between section of it.
  • It looked very Warlock

I have looked through all staffs on wowhead, and the in-game collection book, but cannot find it. At first I assumed it was one of the artifact skins from Legion, but none that I can find, look anything like it. It is possible that its an old Elite Gladiator weapon, but again, I can’t seem to find it.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well, the Scepter of Sargeras was the Legion destro artifact, and it does have several very purple appearances.

After looking through everything, it really is the only thing that makes sense. I appreciate the second eyes though.

Yeah I would assume this was the ‘hidden’ appearance of the Scepter of Sargeras linked above. It has a chandelier like top and a ‘rotating drum with gaps’ before the handle starts.

You can still get it! Its just a super low drop chance and needs multiple warlocks to help summon the boss mob you need in your order hall. The item is called ‘The Burning Jewel of Sargeras’
