I have a Asus rogg713qr laptop Ryzen 9 5900x Rtx3070 I hooked up a new monitor 3440x1440p ultra wide 100hz and it always crashes my monitor and causes it to flicker like crazy and lose connection. I have switched it to Direct x11 and it works fine but I would like to put it back on Direct x12 for the fps increase, I heard it’s a common problem anyone got any fixes? Tried different cables, clean install of wow, windows, and graphics driver
Are you extending or duplicating the windows desktop?

That has caused crashes for other players.
I tried it using only monitor 2 so it shuts off the laptop monitor and still does it, tried the monitor on another computer and it works on that, the laptop screen works fine in directx12 but as soon as I switch it to the monitor it flickers and shuts down
I would probably talk with either the laptop manufacturer or Microsoft about this, since the problem is an external monitor and not the WoW client.
