Help creating macro for Aeonaxx please

Hi there!
I made a macro to target Aeonaxx in deepholm /tar Aeonaxx but now theres a level 10 hunter sitting in deepholm who named his pet Aeonaxx. I’m scared my macro will only target his pet and not the real mob. Is there a way to target the specific mob and stop constantly targetting his pet? I tried with warmode on and off and in both phases there are lvl 10 hunters who named their pet Aeonaxx :frowning: Thanks.

Have you tried adding /cleartarget [harm] (if they’re opposite faction) or /cleartarget [help] (if they’re the same faction) to the macro? No idea if that would actually work, but it couldn’t hurt to try.

Assuming it works, that would probably be better than my suggestion.

People actually do that? Just when you think they can’t go lower. :sweat_smile:

Or if you go to warmode grab a character of the opposite faction and kill the hunter.
