I have been mainly Alliance since the beginning of WoW. I am looking to venture into the Horde side and looking for a highly active Horde server. I want to do both PVE and PVP. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve heard that A-52, Illidan and Thrall are good servers, however, I heard Illidan was full of Chinese spam?

Illidan is fine it just felt like a business town more so than anything else
Zuljin could be an option as well

Azgalor, Azshara, Destromath. You play with people from Area52 but don’t have to be one of them.

I love Wyrmrest Accord as a Horde Server. For Alliance Moon Guard.
check wowprogress dot com You will find a lot of servers that arent worth rolling a char on if you care about anything guild related.
Sargeras, Stormrage, Proudmoore are best Alliance…
Illidan, A52, Tichonrious are best for Horde (Top of my head)

There are very few (2-3) Alliance servers left in US. Stormrage and Sargeras and…?
Thrall. I played on that sever before. However some people are quite rude and you might have some issue with finding a semi casual guild.

Thrall hordeside is pretty hopping. That’s where my main Horde alt is. Haven’t logged onto him in a while, though.
Just make sure to turn off trade chat. Trade chat is always bad but Thrall trade is a special flavor of bad.
