Help! Character floating in nullspace, can't log in :(

I can’t get the in-game help menu to work for me. I have a character (Holomakani) on Bloodsail Buccaneers, floating in nullspace. When I log into the character, I am immediately disconnected.

It all started so innocently - I was d/c’d mid flight on the way to Aerie Peak, and dumped on the side of a mountain. I found some very nice dwarf farmers who gave me directions to the nearest bank (Ironforge). I ran up a pathway into a tunnel that seemed to head back to where I could catch a flight (Kharanos) but… the light at the end of the tunnel… so pretty… then… falling…

Humor aside, I can’t log in and play and its making me a sad panda. :frowning:

Yeah, right here in the forums, with this post. :stuck_out_tongue: The bloody in-game menu links me to help articles that are useless and I can’t open a ticket.

Links and more links and more links and forum posts and help articles, and nowhere to open a ticket for my issue. Resetting the UI doesn’t do it, restarting the game doesn’t do it. It isn’t a UI issue - its my character floating beneath the world issue. :frowning:

Here’s what you do, create a new char, open a ticket… tell the GMs that your char got stuck and they might be able to fix it.

Okay - assume I have no idea what to click. Can you walk me through the EXACT STEPS to get to “OPEN A TICKET” - because everywhere I’ve gone it doesn’t allow me to do exactly that. I wouldn’t have made this post if I could have found an in-game option to open a ticket. :frowning:

When you log in to your new char, there should be a red question mark or exclamation mark on the bottom right of the UI panel i believe, click on it and follow the steps.

After I click the ? and hit Open a Ticket, it links me to more webpages and help articles. Where do I go to create an actual ticket?

  2. open a ticket through there

I am not sure how to deal with this because this never happened to me but that’s the best I can tell you.

no lie, the report a bug system has been a tad more complicated then is used to be. Hopefully you get help soon as that would be annoying to have happened lol.

If I remember correctly, it should teleport your character to your faction’s default graveyard.

I am floating/falling in nullspace under the world. I get disconnected 2 seconds after logging in. There is no way to access the in-game menu when I get dc’d 2 seconds after logging in.

There are no GMs here. That’s not what bug report forums are for.

You’ll need to open a “stuck character” GM ticket through the support website:

Follow the prompts starting with the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page. (The earlier steps wouldn’t be applicable because your character is so stuck you can’t log in.)

That is an option to move my character to a different realm.

No. That is the option to unstuck your character.

The last link on that page leads to the support ticket page I posted earlier.

It’s not in-game. It’s on the support website. Just select the self-service option. Then select your character. Your character will then be teleported to your faction’s default graveyard. (Westfall for Alliance, Barrens for Horde)

Okay - I think I was reading this wrong. Thank you all for your patience - wish me luck. <3 (I thought Westfall was a different realm - in terms of moving a character via realm transfer)
