Hello- new to warlock- is there a way to level with a "drain tank" type build?

I was hoping to tag a bunch of mobs and some how syphon life. I think it used to be a thing a long time ago but I am very inexperienced with warlock. I’m in the level 40s now, but it seems the main source of healing comes from drain life which doesn’t exactly let me tank a ton of mobs

Thanks!

Sorry to say but they made that style obsolete. We are a class of hyper cooldown based heals/defenses and wet tissue armor.

If you want the “tankiest” experience level as demonology and go soul harvester at 71.

Ah sad to hear that. Thanks for the advice though =)

You can pretend for 8-14 seconds every 1 minute with Multiple Mobs:

Talent Accrued Vitality + Soulburn + Death’s Embrace + Soul Rot/Malign Omen.
Dot up 5+ mobs.
Soul Rot + Rapture + Rapture + Rapture + Soulburn + Drain Life until SR drops. You will drain from 5+ mobs and actually see your lifebar move up.

But yeah, that is the absolute best you’re gonna be able to do “Drain Tanking”.
