Can only speak for myself here but I’ve found the game got intensely boring so I went on break. I’m still on it.
Aside from that, seems there’s people who don’t agree with me (which is good) and they still play so they’ll probably have a lot to tell you about changes.

Dalaran was destroyed and we were duped into it by Xal’atath, after that we proceeded to help those that helped us when we crashed, ie. the Earthen, while helping them we found the Arathi in an underground zone. While helping the Arathi we find out the Nerubians have been fighting the arathi but all was not as it seemed. So Nerubians realized thier Queen was insane which was killed by her daughter under the influence of Xal. So we help a military coup and kill the infulence in the Nerubian zone. This lead to us finding a new troll faction that shape shifts into bats at the same time. They have a shaman who is in touch with Azeroth herself, taking over for Magni.
Also during this time the Earthen reconnected with the Arathi, and the march of the Dwarven machanations happened to help one another. A lil bit of time passed and we found some Azerite on an island which the goblins were all over. However, this Azerite we learn has been infecting the Earthen and turning them into something else, forgot the name. So suddenly that troll shaman that turns into a bat had a bad trip, and thanks to her found out Gallywix is working for Xal’atath, so we go into Undermine.
In Undermine, we find the 4 families like this was mobster NYC, they all got together to stand up to Gallywix. Gallwyix employs another cartel to be muscle for him and screw with the citizens with Undermine. Players and Gazlowe get together, kill Gallywix but not before Gallywix really screwed over Xal’atath.
See Xal had him fix something from Dragonflight that Alleria broke in one of the fight scenes. Gallywix fixed it but gave it to an Etheral messenger he though was on befalf on Xal, it wasn’t. Gallywix dies, his hotel goes to family, he dies. The Hotel then goes to the staff in Undermine and profits are shared. Gazlowe gave a promise of a favor to the Alliance Spymaster, and now you are pretty kinda caught up. Things were left out for you to find out about.
Oh, and Xalatath / Khadgar decided that Dalaran should never be rebuilt. I knew I forgot something
