Nostalgia for the 1990s. Wc1 and wc2 came out durring this period! as did many other games and products!
Yes. The machines in the Matrix were right, the 90s really were the peak of human civilization (at least so far).
No I’ve run out of stock recently
I can have some ordered in and it should arrive by the 20th if that works for you?
I heard foo fighters on our local classic rock station the other day
Heard Breakfast at Tiffany’s and now I’ve spent the day just feeling old.
Go find you some kitsch to cope with friend.
Yes that’s a word.
This is the most Millennial thread I have ever seen here.
Anyway, I wasn’t born yet in the 90s, so No.
I was born in 1993, of course I do.
SNES is the greatest console of all time. Fite me.
Age of empires 1 and 2. That’s legit my whole life in the 90s
I did about 7 years ago
Now I’m just pre-nostalgic for the 2090s
no not really playing my gameboy is not even close playing my steam deck
People seemed to be more kind to each other than today. Gaming was a hobby, where you wanted to spend time with others and not be better than them.
We also put less pressure on the kids, today you must be a rocket scientist at age 16, or you will have a life in poverty.
Kids can´t be kids anymore, I feel that this is the biggest loss of our society and it backfires badly, as we can see if we look at the criminal records of young adults and the side effects like depression & co.
I’m mostly nostalgic for when I was young and my biggest worry was finding secrets in video games and schoolyard crushes.
So yeah, 90s and early to mid 2000s.
I miss the times when media, especially games and sci-fi films, were devoid of identity politics. Comedy used to be superior. Shows like Mad TV and In Living Color were excellent. Even the music was better. The focus was quality. Now the focus is to ‘check the boxes’. I miss the 90’s.
Ouch, my joints.
l.m.a.o.
80’s 90’s
Going further in the past. I have nostalgia for the 70’s and 80’s.
I was born in the 1980’s.
Oh yea of course. The numerous RPGs on the SNES and the early RPGs on the computer like Baldur’s Gate. Dungeon&Dragons, fantasy paperbacks, magic the gathering. Good stuff.
Now it’s all work work work, pay those bills then go home, lie down and die.
