Trying to solo mythic hellfire citadel but when i enter nothing much happens and the mobs that are supposed to attack the cannons wont attack. I tried lowering difficulty but nothing happens
Did you clear the trash? The boss doesn’t come out until you clear the entire room of trash including the 2 packs the boss sends to defend the cannons after clearing what you can. Then the boss comes out and is engaged.
Not to be a buzzkill but unless you have some sort of amazing run speed haxx you’re probably not gonna be able to solo the first boss in mythic anyways. I tried a couple months ago on my warrior and was not even close to being able to get back and forth between the cannons before they were destroyed. The mobs just do way to much damage to them for you to be able to bring ammo to one and get to the other before it’s blown up. Fight really, really needs fixed. Theres way too many good mogs and one of the best looking mounts in the game there to have it locked off. Oh, and Blizzard was nice enough to nerf Bear Tartare to 10%, instead of the 70% it was in Legion. Otherwise it might still be doable.

Aye, Burgh is right about Mythic being impossible to solo - especially for melee classes, but you must clear the trash to start the encounter on any difficulty.

Mythic HFC is perfectly soloable for most melee, so take what the other’s say with a grain of salt.
As a DK you should just go unholy and use your pet to aggro everything on the left side and bring it over to you on the right side. Works like a charm. You won’t wipe from the cannon damage at all.
Tried that attempt still somewhat difficult when the ghoul is staring up at the sky most of the time although you’re trying to get it to attack enemies.
Hello everyone! I have been having trouble running Hellfire Citadel lately and opening a ticket for it. Not sure if this post will lead to any response or action from Devs but I have been unable to figure out why I am always prevented from using the portals after fighting bosses due to me being still in combat. I would go back and kill every mob, kill myself, leave the Raid, Log out, Exit game. Only thing that seems to work is leaving the Raid and running back through it after each boss. If youre having a similar problem or know the solution reply please.
