they are just killing the spec, its purose in pve is for cleaving as ST is behind soul harvester, in pvp it might be used vs healers who struggle with spread cleaving as well(hpala mw rdruid, sometimes disc)

after the changes hellcaller will just be garbage everywhere, wither as a dot does less damage than corruption and it won’t cleave with blackened soul as well, might as well just delete the herom spec altogether, thanks, great change

I do find it particularly funny that they’re increasing the crit damage of Blackened Soul, but the two Xalan talents (the ones that gives +damage and crit chance to shadow/fire spells) do not, and have never, actually worked on Blackened Soul damage.

It will be interesting to see how they plan to make Hellcaller not completely fall behind in aoe with these changes.
