Did Heirlooms get updated yet to level 70?
Yes they have. The new vendor is in Valdrakken near the spark of ingenuity spot up in a house. They haven’t shown any mercy on the cost though… Imo the cost should be lowered across the board due to the massive nerfs overall to the set effects of the heirlooms themselves.

I haven’t updated mine since they changed how they work with xp. And judging from the cost they have attached upgrade them I never will unless they change it back to xp bonus instead of rest xp
people still use those? without the XP buff which is what people got them for i thought no one used them anymore, only thing they are good for is at low lvl making it so you can mog stuff

Heirlooms seem more bother than they’re worth now. Constantly needing to upgrade so many so often… meh. My alts can wear whatever.

Heirlooms are the new gold sink for us poor plebs whom build up gold slowly. And I am questioning their worth. I mean, Rested XP is actually no joke, and 60% reduction of Rested XP used per kill (while not negating how much Rested XP is awarded) is pretty nice. But…
Couldn’t the Heirlooms work like:
(2) Set: 15% boost to Experience rewarded, 30% reduction to Rested XP used, 60% faster acquisition of Rested XP in a rest area
…
…
(5) Set: 15% additional boost to Experience rewarded, additional 30% reduction to Rested XP used, Addtional 60% faster acquisition of Rested XP in a rest area
Personally they need to Refund everyone all the gold and items they used to upgrade them to what they are now sense they took the XP buff away which is why people spent all the gold and items to upgrade them in the first place, yes i get it if the XP buff was still there people would get 3 to 4 lvls per a dungeon but guess what? PEOPLE LIKE LVLING FAST
I still use mine but they are honestly kind of a bad deal anymore. My brother spent almost 40k upgrading just some of his and now he’s thinking that with fast leveling it may have been a waste of money.
I mean would it kill them to just no longer require upgrading them every expansion. It becomes downright stupid for returning players and that’s who probably needs them the most.
I use mine initially, then the moment I start getting dungeon blues they are replaced pretty fast. The rested only builds up if you let the character sit for ages, so that isn’t even remotely worth it when it’s basically gone in moments.
ya the rested gets used up after like 2 dungeons its lame and pointless
There is a dramatic difference in ilvl between players who have no heirlooms and those who have most or all. A player without heirlooms who gets out of the starting zone with an ilvl of 4 is still going to have multiple empty slots at level 30, regardless of what content they level in.
I use the solely because alt leveling dungeon spam makes it easier to control Xmog kekw
Mine only scale up to 44 though, which is fine as they’re now relatively useless
Yeah, mine all quit at level 34, except one item that I must have gotten a reward for, which ends at 39.
Maybe true for the original starting areas, but Exile’s Reach gives you a green for every slot except boots, and some of the next areas of Chromie Time have green quality boots from quests.
