I was paying in SL with gold since they where just giving it away
It doesnāt even hurt blizzard. In fact they make a profit when we do that. Talk about win win win
I donāt even really like blizzardā¦ Theyāre okay at bestā¦ But man that was a really smart move business wise
Well 5000g per heirloom for armor, 7500g per heirloom for weapons, generally depends on what toons your targeting to level, so it could cost couple hundred k easyā¦
Upgraded 42 Armor Heirlooms (I believe there was 44 but I didnt have 2 of them)
5000 * 42 was 210,000g this morning.
I couldnt care less about gold and I just wanted them all to be available since I have an alt armyā¦
210k for 42 armor pieces, or 5000g per
Coincidentally, thatās the same way for some relationships irl too
Donāt forget we can use holiday currencies instead. Spend no gold.
Iāve decided to step off the heirloom upgrade treadmill for now. Iāve been slowly cutting back for a couple of expansions, but for DF I just stopped using them entirely.
Or timewalking tokens. I have weapon and shield upgraded all the way for my palis, it makes such a difference, just the level scaling, even if no longer OP it is still equivalent of getting good quest upgrades every level, which just doesnāt happen any other way.
People are using looms still? I donāt think Iāve upgraded them past Legion.
With the 50% Diablo 4 boost, alongside the 10% from Midsummer, leveling was nuts.
Too bad this is over tomorrow. This is how I want my heirlooms to work!
Heirlooms are still useful in that you donāt have to worry about replacing them during the leveling process with items youād replace the very next level anyway.
I still miss their XP boost though, even thought from 1 - 60 is still pretty fast.
I had lots of TW badges on lower toons saved up and found they canāt buy the 6/6 upgradesā¦
Mini necro aside, bruh you need a gf.
Heirlooms are 100% not worth getting. Blues from dungeons are better.
