Alright, so as you may know, Heirloom enchants are mostly busted at lower levels. They don’t really function or scale right, you can only put on certain enchants at very low levels. Things like leg enchants/shoulder enchants with level requirements do not meet your ilvl requirement at that level and are literally unable to be used in game right now, and have been for quite some time.
Yet there is one set of enchants that scale perfectly. The Dragonflight ones, for whatever reason, can not be applied to lower level items but if it’s on an heirloom and you run timewalking, it scales down properly. This proves that they would work just fine.
Which makes me wonder, why can’t we use these enchants on lower level items naturally, why are they locked at a higher level when they functionally can scale down. I know odds are, Blizzard is never fixing their old useless professions (not just enchants are broken, it’s every profession). So why can’t I just put Frozen Devotion on a sword and have it proc below level 60?
