Heirlooms don't give bonus XP anymore?

I just spent a ton of gold upgrade my heirlooms to 5/5… and then I read the bonus buffs and dont see extra XP anymore

It gives you extra xp by keeping you in the “rested” state longer now.

Making them almost completely pointless if you are actively playing the toon on a daily basis. Considering they get out-classed by at-level dungeon gear, it’s really not worth the investment anymore.

I just completely ignore any pretend “set bonuses” that are there to make us think they gave us something useful back. I see zero advantage to having to park my character and play only a few hours once in a while to min max my set bonus rested xp.

Someone didn’t read patch notes from a long break it seems.

Been like this a while.

You will like the weapons on dual wielders. these are usually a pita to get matching sets.

rings and trinkets can suck too so looms good there.

other slots…well it saves on mog costs lol.

The heirloom gears pretty much worthless right now save for weapons on a dual wield class. They all get outmatched by dungeon gear so just save your gold and ditch em

Working as intended lol. They have wanted to phase looms to non-existence for a while now. Neon Ion said it during a q&a hmm a few years ago. But ya imo they should of buffed the stats on looms up some to make up for the xp nerf. The weapons, and maybe the trinks are about the only looms worth upgrading now.

theyre just not worth upgrading anymore imo.

i got my old collection stuck at 49 or something and thats it.

there’s easy catchup gear to get anyways past 49 so it’s fine… but it’s sad there’s no point collecting them all and capping them all anymore. one less thing do do.

This is not a new change it’s been in the game for awhile

I haven’t fully upgraded them since the SL pre-patch.

Honestly the flight path toys are still definitely worth the gold if you haven’t got all of them yet.

Sorry to say but you wasted money. It’s been like this for a while.

Heirlooms are kinda worthless now.

They kind of rendered that aspect of heirlooms useless.

Damn you are on icecrown I would of given you 50k if you were on moonguard to replace the gold you lost
