How many of you ONLY upgrade your weapon and trinket or maybe even rings (if you got one) but mainly weapon and trinket just for cost reason?

I don’t even bother with upgrades anymore. My heirlooms were previously upgraded 2/4 or 3/4 from past expansion, I just replace them as I level.
Makes very little dif tbh.
i upgraded a full set of cloth, leather, chain and plate. Not the weapons, but the armor, trinkets. Works great all the way to level 65ish
Item scaling is all out of whack, such that heirlooms don’t even make sense to equip at certain points. For example, if you lock a character at level 10, you’ll get dungeon drops at ilevel 40, but your heirlooms only scale to 35, making the dungeon drops substantially superior. It seems to depend on the expansion you’re leveling/dungeoneering in, and what level you are. On average, I think heirlooms still scale to be equivalent to blues, but not always.
I upgrade enough to run a set of every armor type, plus one of any kind of weapon if theres more than one.
Heirlooms are nice and all but they arent comparable to half decent gear so no reason to go overboard
