Heirloom Boots

When are we getting these so I can drop a 10% movement speed enchant on them for all my alts?

And then have the Wrath babies cry that the Heirloom doesn’t give them uber stats as well?

Sounds fine to me. Could use a laugh at their expense.

Probably never, I mean how long have heirlooms been in the game and still not a single pair of boots?

It should happen tho.

Never say never - they just recently invalidated the heirlooms for a lot of people, so who knows they might muck about in that space again.

But you just did. Twice.

Maybe

I use my heirlooms for leveling regardless of how much better drops/dungeon loot is just for the convenience of never have to swap it tbh. It gets the job done.

Shhhhhh! Quiet, you fool! They’re always listening for the sound of fun, and quality of life improvements that make chores easier like movespeed always sound suspiciously like fun. They’ve already nerfed the movespeed gems into the dirt! Don’t let on that we know there’s another!

…I wouldn’t mind a nice pair of heirloom boots, though.

And not having to re transmog each time I get a replacement.

I don’t have heirlooms pants or rings any tho, so I still have to replace some slots.

Now that I think about it I don’t think I have any belts either, do heirloom belts even exist? Lol

No belt, bracers, gloves or boots.

You don’t need Heirlooms. At all. Its ridiculously easy to level right now.

They’ll add boots, and next patch we’re gonna get a hotfix

“Fun has been detected, and fixed. Thank you for your understanding”

“When movement speed gems, or enchants, are applied to heirlooms, they will instead reduce movement speed.”

“Enchanting weapons causes them to deal damage to you instead of your target, if the enchantment doesn’t deal damage, it will instead give it’s buff to your current target. If your target is friendly it will instead be given to your last hostile target.”

Somehow I only noticed the boots missing

Well, it’s easier to put on one set of gear and wear it all the way to 60 (70 soon) than bothering to swapping gear. Not like you’re wearing the starter whites all the way up.

Also I can enchant it and send it to new alts.

They should just make it so heirlooms are an entire ensemble so I can just transmog them once and be done.

That’s really their only purpose at this point.

They need to get revamped.

Is it though? Often times the dungeon gear has better stats, and you cycle through every equip slot (if you dungeon run) every four to five dungeons.

Is clicking to equip the gear from your bags to your body that difficult?

Didn’t say it was difficult.

Heirlooms get the job done without having to worry about it and level with me so if I don’t get a replacement drop it’s not a concern.

Heirlooms also keep the enchant as I level.

Also, if leveling is so easy, why are you so worried about a couple more stats from dungeon gear?

You gonna wear someones nasty hand-me-down shoes? Gross.

Right, but what does it matter? Leveling is such a joke that it doesn’t require paying any attention to stats.

Also if you go above and beyond and enchant your heirlooms that makes up the difference.

It’s not that it’s difficult, it’s that it’s meaningless.

Right now, with the speed at which I level on any characters it wouldn’t matter. A full heirloom set would be cool though.

I would like to see heirloom gear for all remaining slots (belt/boot/bracer/gloves) as well as drops for the weapons not currently accounted for.

Most of my alt grinding is now done in dungeon runs and I end up with some seriously low gear in these slots till I hit the newest content and start replacing heirloom stuff.

IMO leaving these last few spots without heirloom stuff doesn’t make a lot of sense.
