Heavier punishments for dungeon deserters

Can we get (insert topic title)? Particularly for players using the LFD system to farm single bosses, usually screwing over all the other players in the group that aren’t abusing the system. I like to level alts alot, and I don’t think I’ve completed a run of Wailing Caverns since I picked BfA back up, due to twinks queuing only for the first boss and then bailing on us.

I could understand if you were asking for this for M+, but low level stuff? Even if the person was the tank you could still have easily finished the dungeon without them.

Ironically, the call on the forums is usually to remove the Dungeon Deserter debuff entirely, as people complain it’s being used to troll people when friends queue together and kick any random members they see fit.

It is annoying when people leave dungeons, but you can still get through them a man down, or just requeue and fake it for a bit until the Dungeon Finder tosses someone else in the mix.

My wife and I managed to three-man RFC from about level 10 or 11 along with a friend of ours, so low-level dungeons are entirely possible to cheese even without a full group. It’s even easier once you get up to the relevant level of the dungeon, and like I said, just joining the queue again will get you someone eventually, hopefully someone who’s actually looking to complete it for experience and not just to game the system and pick up twink gear. Yeah, it’s annoying, but the alternative is probably too heavy-handed to be a useful dynamic.

Oof, I’ve already opened the BS kick system can. Two entirely different problems, both of which deserve being fixed.

I agree only if Lucifuge and or/God-emperor Fleb are the ones distributing the punishments.

Wait, how do you fix the problem of the deserter “punishment” being meted out unfairly if you also want to increase the severity of said punishment? Or what’s the problem with the kick system, other than the possibility of abuse inherent in any system that crosses human interface with social interaction?

Had the exact same scenario in a BRD run with my husband and another in group. We decided to keep going since the 2 extra dps slots weren’t getting filled and wound up clearing it with just the 3 of us. The lower level dungeons should be no problem at all so long as at least one of you knows the instance.

Only if the punishments aren’t too bad tho )8

Ideally the punishments would involve lots of tentacles and sensuous goldshire erp diary entries.

You can requeue your group and get a replacement in minutes

I think I’ll take a nap instead.

Also when does Fleb have tentacles?

Be careful what you wish for my sensual sunflower, sometimes the worst punishment is getting no attention at all.

I suddenly have a strange urge to set you on fire to kill hope…or something.

I wouldn’t know.

Sadly after Teldrassil burned she passed on a small little trait that just prevents us from dying to a fire unless it goes on for over a century ):

I regret to inform you that I’m not sure you can light me on fire, though I do enjoy the tickle.

Oh, I admit I like the defiant and proud ones. The ones who beg to be broken, who smile at death, and delight in defying the odds. You are a rose amoung thorns my prickly pear, and I shall pluck you from your sensual garden in due time.

This is the best flirt line I’ve seen in recent memory. Somehow you always surprise me and ascend to greater and more inappropriate heights. Never change, Luci
