In my honest opinion, I don’t think Ledger’s performance of the Joker in the Dark Knight is good acting. I don’t deny that he was a good actor, just not as the Joker.
He seems like trying really hard at doing his role and comes across as over-the-top instead of menacing. Yet that is my opinion.

If you read the comics the joker isn’t menacing and is over the top. He portrayed the character well. Even in the stories death in the family, death of the family where he was at his most sadistic he wasn’t menacing in any way.
I thought he did good cause like city said, they portrayed the character well.
I think he did a good job but I think Jack Nicholson did it better.

an actor who almost all his performance is improper, is obviously people of the new generation and the woke trend does not like it.
In fact you should even be thinking that Robert Pattison was there, heh… as if that pseudo-actor is as big a deal as Tom Holland as ignorant people like you.
Mark hamill is THE Joker.

Cesar Romero is the real joker.

You trippin!
Heath Ledger topped Jack Nicholson in that role!
Isn’t there a new Batman and Joker cast every other year? Soon to be more than all the Wide World of Sports ever shown.

Yeah… sure feels that way. People at work are like “omg new Batman so good” and I’m like “oh let me guess, he runs around like someone that spent too much time at Hot Topic and defeats either the Joker, the Peguin, Riddler, Bane, Two Face and/or Scarecrow?”
I’m genuinely curious how many versions of Batman will come around before I die.
The painted-over moustache really sells it!
